Before any repair or maintenance operation, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the socket.

Only adults should use or install the product.

Before any maintenance operation, turn off water supply to the appliance. Always empty the appliance of all the water. Any maintenance should be carried out with the appliance standing upright. Residual water could damage electronics if the appliance is placed on any of its sides.

Make sure to use the product only for its designated purpose and verify that it is a compatible part for the intended product.

Do not use or install the product if damaged.

Please note that self-repair or nonprofessional repair can have safety consequences if not done properly and might void the warranty. Possessing the necessary know-how is essential.

Door safety interlock 

Remove the iron ring securing the bellow seal to the unit.

Remove the part of the bellow seal concerned from the unit.

Unfasten the two screws securing the door safety interlock to the front panel.

Take the device and move it to the left.

Turn it towards the inside (right-hand side of the flange).

Pull it out towards the right and remove it.

Pull out the door safety interlock. 

Take care in the lower part of the device as there is a small rod.

Don’t pull it out too much otherwise the small rod comes out of its seat in the filter body, as described below.

Remove the small rod from the pin (after removal, it stays in the vertical position).

Pull out the wiring protection from the door safety interlock.

Disconnect the connector.

To reassemble the door safety interlock, repeat the same tasks in reverse order.

Make sure the small rod is correctly positioned with respect to the door safety interlock (see photo at the top of the page).

The small rod must be positioned correctly in its seat as indicated by the arrow. 

Before tightening the screws to secure the door safety interlock to the front panel, make sure the flange is positioned properly on the outside as indicated by the arrows.

Tighten the screws at a torque of 2.5 Nm.

To reassemble the door safety interlock, repeat the same tasks in reverse order.
