Always take care when moving appliances. For heavy appliances it's safest for two persons to move it. Always use safety gloves and safety footwear. Wear safety gloves at all times to protect from cuts from sharp edges.

Only adults should use or install the product.

Before any maintenance operation, turn off water supply to the appliance. Always empty the appliance of all the water. Any maintenance should be carried out with the appliance standing upright. Residual water could damage electronics if the appliance is placed on any of its sides.

Make sure to use the product only for its designated purpose and verify that it is a compatible part for the intended product.

Do not use or install the product if damaged.

Please note that self-repair or nonprofessional repair can have safety consequences if not done properly and might void the warranty. Possessing the necessary know-how is essential.

HOW TO REPLACE PUMP HOUSING
1. Prior to replacing the pump housing it is recommended to drain the washing machine of any water via the filter at the bottom.

2. Unscrew the two 8mm screws on the back of the washing machine lid and slide back to release.

3. Open the detergent drawer and push the tab at the back left of the drawer to release the detergent drawer.

4. Unscrew the two 8mm screws on the water dispenser unit and the two 7mm screws at the top of the control panel.

5. Unscrew the two 8mm screws on the water dispenser unit and the two 7mm screws at the top of the control panel.

6. Unscrew the two PH2 screws in the detergent drawer housing.

7. Release the cable holder from the control panel crossbar.

8. Use a flat blade screwdriver to lever the clip on the detergent housing from the control panel crossbar to release the control panel. Pull the control panel towards you to release.

9. Carefully disconnect the wiring connector for the user interface board. Be careful not to damage the connector.

10. Unscrew the four 8mm screws on the top of the front panel.

11. Use a flat bladed screwdriver to unhook the door seal retaining spring.

12. Unhook the door gasket from the front panel.

13. Press in the two securing tabs at the top and bottom of the door lock, slide the door lock to the left and push in to the front panel to release.

14. Unscrew the three Torx 20 screws under the front panel.

15. Pull the front panel towards you to release.

16. Unscrew the four 10mm bolts holding the counterweight and pull towards you to remove.

17. Use a flat bladed screwdriver to release the single use securing clips for the drain hose and tub hose. NOTE: Ensure that the clip is replaced during reinstallation.

18. Pull the tub hose and the drain hose off of the pump housing.

19. Unscrew the two PH2 screws holding the pump housing to the housing of the washing machine and lift the pump housing to release.

20. Unclip the wiring protector on either side to remove the protector and then carefully disconect the wiring connectors from the drain pump spades. NOTE: Ensure that all connectors are correctly refitted during installation. Be careful not to damage the connectors.

21. Carefully unclip the pump from the pump housing and then rotate and pull to release the drain pump.

22. Lift the catch on the front of the filter housing and then rotate the pump housing clockwise to release.

23. Ensure that the seals are replaced for the screw housing and pump housing clip.

24. When assembling, repeat steps in reverse order.
