Drying Temperature in Our Heat Pump Tumble Dryers
In our heat pump tumble dryers, drying takes place at a controlled temperature. This ensures optimal drying conditions while protecting your clothes from damage. However, it's important to note that the drying temperature may vary depending on the selected programme, desired dryness level, additional functions, load size, and the moisture level of the laundry.
What Affects the Drying Temperature in a Tumble Dryer?
Selected Programme
Each drying programme, such as the Cotton cycle, is optimised for a specific fabric type. This means the drying temperature is tailored to suit cotton garments, ensuring effective and safe drying. We offer a variety of programmes that adjust the temperature to meet the specific needs of your laundry.
Dryness Level
The chosen dryness level (iron dry, cupboard dry, extra dry) also influences the drying temperature. You can adjust this according to your preferences, whether you want your laundry completely dry or slightly damp.
Additional Functions
Features available in our dryers can also affect the drying temperature. For example, selecting the gentle drying function will lower the temperature to protect delicate fabrics.
Load Size
The size of the load plays a significant role in determining the drying temperature. Our dryers are optimised to adjust the temperature based on the amount of laundry, ensuring even drying without overheating.
Moisture Level of the Load
It’s also worth noting that the moisture level of the laundry can affect the duration of the drying cycle. If the laundry has not been properly spun, drying may take longer to reach the desired dryness level.
Thanks to advanced technology, our dryers provide precise control over the drying temperature to protect your garments and deliver optimal drying results. You can be confident that the dryer will adapt to your needs, offering effective, safe, and fabric-appropriate drying.
Since the dryer intelligently adjusts drying parameters, including temperature, based on the load and selected options, we do not provide exact temperatures for each drying programme. The average drying temperature is approximately 50–54°C.
An exception is the Outdoor programme, which reaches around 60°C, as many waterproofing agents require this temperature to achieve maximum effectiveness.
