HOW TO REPLACE GLASS COOKING TOP WITH CONTROL KNOB

Unlocking tool 140067355010 is required for this repair.The underside of the hob may scratch the surface it’s on, it is advised to place a towel on the working surface to avoid scratches.

1. Lift the control knob up to remove from the hob top.

2. When the glass is removed push through the gaskets for each control knob.

3. Push the tool up into the slot on the hob to release the side clips of the hob glass.

4. Using the tool unclip the glass in all positions on the hob glass. Number and placement of clips may vary depending on the appliance.

5. Lift the glass from the hob.

6. Place the new hob glass gently onto the frame and line up all of the clips in the correct position (ensure all the clips are correctly positioned with the tension spring on the outside of the body and the clip on the inside of the body).

7. Press firmly on all sides of the hob to push the clips into place.
