    Before any repair or maintenance operation, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the socket.

    Always take care when moving appliances. For heavy appliances it's safest for two persons to move it. Always use safety gloves and safety footwear. Wear safety gloves at all times to protect from cuts from sharp edges.

    Small parts not for children under 3 years. Keep all small parts and packaging out of reach of children.

    Only adults should use or install the product.

    Before any maintenance operation, turn off water supply to the appliance. Always empty the appliance of all the water. Any maintenance should be carried out with the appliance standing upright. Residual water could damage electronics if the appliance is placed on any of its sides.

    Make sure to use the product only for its designated purpose and verify that it is a compatible part for the intended product.

    Do not use or install the product if damaged.

    Please note that self-repair or nonprofessional repair can have safety consequences if not done properly and might void the warranty. Possessing the necessary know-how is essential.

    How to replace the bearing

    Warning!

    For loosening the bearing using the tool PN 8992980018-48/5 is recommended:

    1. Remove side panel:

    Unscrew the 4 rear fixation screws.

    Pull the side panel to the back in order to disassemble the upper anchoring and the three points of front anchoring.

    Remove the side panel.

    Warning: Do not forget the two washers when assembling. They confirm the earth connection of the side panels.

    Left bearing

    1 - Remove the left side panel.

    2 - Remove the drum screw.

    3 - Use the tool PN 8992980018-48/5 for loosening the bearing (in the direction of opening).

    Right bearing

    1 - Remove the right side panel.

    2 - Remove the drum screw with pulley.

    3 - Remove the pulley.

    4 - Remove the drum earth fastening parts with a saw

    5 - Use the tool PN 8992980018-48/5 for loosening the bearing (in the direction of opening).

    During assembling take care to the correct position of the round gasket. Clean the drum shaft, grease the shaft-sealing ring, screw the bearing to the tub (closed sense).

    Note: These bearings are auto-fastening, therefore do not fasten them too strong.

    Bearing with shaft-sealing for speed >1000 1/min

    Bearing without shaft-sealing for speed <1000 1/min

    Grease sealing and shift it onto the spindle to the stop.

    The thin sealing lip is ahead.

    6 - When assembling, repeat steps in reverse order.
