The handle for opening the tumble dryer is broken

Issue

  • The handle of the tumble dryer is broken
  • The door of the tumble dryer cannot be opened anymore
  • The dryer door cannot be closed and does not lock

Applies to

  • Tumble dryer with the round opening

Resolution

  • Check if the door pin/latch is complete and free from any damage. A damaged one will prevent the appliance from starting.

  • If the dryer door can not be opened/closed, or the door handle is visibly broken, we recommend you book a service visit
