Cooker hood panel unresponsive, activates on its own during the day
Issue
- The control panel does not respond to touch
- Control panel self-activation in daytime
- Cannot switch on the light or change the cooker hood speed
Applies to
- Cooker Hoods with "Touch on steel" feature
Resolution
Recalibrate the control panel.
CAUTION!
For correct calibration, touch the full surface of the sensor by the finger.
1. Make sure that the appliance is connected to the electrical supply.
2. Touch any sensor 10 times. You will hear a beep after each touch.
3. The control panel will enter calibration mode.
All sensors will start to blink, and the
(Timer icon) sensor will turn on.
4. Touch the
(Timer icon) sensor and keep your finger on it for 2 seconds. After 2 seconds, it will turn off, and the next sensor will turn on.
5. Touch each sensor when it turns on in the following order:
6. When you touch the last sensor, the calibration is complete.

- The control panel can be affected by environmental conditions (direct sunlight, other source that generates an infrared beam)
