Before any repair or maintenance operation, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the socket.

Always empty the appliance of all the water, e.g. tumble dryer water container. Any maintenance should be carried out with the appliance standing upright. Residual water could damage electronics if the appliance is placed on any of its sides.

How to replace Heating element in Dryer
1. Remove screws of the airduct (1)
2. Slightly remove a plate with a screwdriver. (2)
3. Remove airduct (3,4)
4. If you only have to exchange the thermal switch, you can unscrew it easily. Connections are plugged (5)
5. Loosen the notch between connector and cable feedthrough and unplug connector (6,7)
6. Remove attaching screws (8)
7. Remove heating unit (9)
8. To reassemble, repeat steps in reverse order.
