AEG AX5/AX7 purifiers - Should I vacuum clean the outside of my filter for longer life?
Issue
- AEG AX5/AX7 purifiers - Should I vacuum clean the outside of my filter for longer life?
Applies to
- AEG AX5/AX7 series air purifiers
Resolution
- The pre-filter (mesh) should be regularly vacuum cleaned to ensure larger dust & hair particles are removed and air continues to flow optimally through the other filters.
- The high-efficiency particle filter and the odour (activated carbon) filters do not need to be vacuumed aside for aesthetical reasons. Vacuuming these will not prolong their life and in fact, if done incorrectly (with force) it may actually damage the filter instead.
