How much ozone does my air purifier release?
Issue
- How much ozone does my air purifier release?
Applies to
- AEG air purifiers
Resolution
- If your air purifier has an ionizer and it is turned on, then it may emit trace amounts of ozone as a byproduct of the ionization process. We test our air purifiers for safety and toxicity matters at independent third parties to ensure – among other things - that ozone emissions are well below recommended indoor concentrations. As a Consumer, you always have the ability to toggle the ionizer ON/OFF via the AEG app for added peace of mind.
