How to do maintenance on your AEG cordless vacuum cleaner
Resolution
It is easy to maintain your AEG cordless vacuum cleaner. With regular cleaning and filter replacement, you can expect long-lasting performance.
Emptying the dustbin
- Release the dustbin. On most models, you do this by pushing the button and pulling out the dustbin. Check the user manual for more details on your specific model.
- Empty its contents.
- Rinse the dustbin with water (maximum 40°C).
- Wipe it dry with a cloth.
Cleaning the All-in-1 Station (if your model has it)
Replace the dust bag
- Open the side door of the emptying station.
- Pull out the blue lid that seals the dust bag and remove it from its compartment.
- Dispose of the used dust bag and insert a new one securely.
Clean the filter
- Locate the filter inside the station, positioned at the lower part.
- Remove the filter and rinse it with clean water (maximum 40°C).
- Allow the filter to dry completely for at least 24 hours.
- Once dry, reinsert the cleaned filter or replace it with a new one.
Cleaning the filters
- Remove all parts from the filter container and the hand unit.
- Rinse each part with water (maximum 40°C).
- Let the parts dry for 24 hours.
- Put the parts back into the hand unit when fully dry.

Cleaning the nozzles
Nozzles for dry surfaces
Nozzles for dry surfaces include the multi-surface nozzle, the hard floor nozzle, and the small, motorised nozzles (pet and bed nozzle).
For brush nozzles:
- Release the brush for the nozzle by twisting the lock on the side of the nozzle.
- Cut the entangled hair on the brush and wipe the multi-surface nozzle with a wet cloth.
- Reassemble the brush into the nozzle when dry.
For hard nozzles without a brush, just wipe the nozzle clean with a cloth.
Nozzles for wet cleaning
The wet nozzle is only applicable to selected models.
- Remove the pads from the nozzle.
- Hand or machine wash the pads (maximum 40°C).
- Let the pads air dry.
- Put the pads back on the nozzle.
