My hob does not turn on / ignite / light
Issue
- My hob does not turn on / does not operate

Resolution
Integrated ceramic / induction hobs
Problem | Possible Cause | Remedy |
You cannot turn on or operate the hob. | The hob is not connected to an electrical supply or it is connected incorrectly. | Check if the hob is correctly connected to the electrical supply. Contact the installer or qualified electrician. |
You cannot turn on or operate the hob. | The fuse is blown. | Make sure that the fuse is the cause of the malfunction. If the fuse is blown again and again, contact a qualified electrician. |
You cannot turn on or operate the hob. | You do not set the heat setting for 10 seconds. | Activate the hob again and set the heat setting in less than 10 seconds. |
You cannot turn on or operate the hob. | Pause (II) operates. | Refer to the "Daily use" chapter in the user manual. |
You cannot turn on or operate the hob. | You touched 2 or more sensor fields at the same time. | Touch only one sensor field. |

Integrated gas hobs / gas cookers

What to do if your gas hob or cooker top does not turn on, ignite or light
Contact an Authorised Service Centre.
If you cannot find a solution to the problem yourself, contact your dealer or an Authorised Service Centre. The necessary data for the service centre is on the rating plate. The rating plate is on the front frame of the oven cavity or the underside of the hobs. Do not remove the rating plate from the appliance
