Can I use dishwasher salt in my 9000 series washing machine's SoftWater filter?
Issue
- Can I use dishwasher salt in my 9000 series washing machine's SoftWater filter?
Applies to
- Washing machines with SoftWater technology
Resolution
With the 9000 series AEG washing machine having SoftWater technology which reduces fading on your clothes, the product requires a built-in water filtration system to be kept in great condition. Using dishwasher salt in the salt container will keep the filter in great condition and keep your clothes looking their best for longer.
Our salt stops limescale and calcium build-ups which negatively affect your appliances. This salt can be used in dishwashers and selected washing machines, to keep your dishes shining and your colourful clothes looking vibrant.
