Can the washing machine's door be reversed?
Issue
- Can the washing machine's door be reversed?
- Can I change the washing machine door opening direction?
Applies to
- Front loader washing machine
Resolution
The door of a washing machine cannot be reversed to open the opposite way.
- The direction in which a washing machine’s door opens cannot be changed due to electrical parts in the machine which cannot be moved.
- To achieve a better door opening arrangement for washing machine beside tumble dryer, switch them around and turn the tumble dryer’s door the opposite way. This can make it easier to move clothes from one machine to the other.
