Oven door making unusual noises
Issue
- The oven emits clicking & clunking noises whilst the door opening
Applies to
- Built In Single Ovens
- Built In Double Ovens
Resolution
Most likely there is no cause for concern, this is not a technical issue. There is a point of increased resistance at a particular point of travel on the hinge that generates an audible sound, that is intentional and not a defect. The resistance that occurs is to stop the door from slamming.
However, if the hinge locking tabs are not pushed right the way down this will cause the door to jump when trying to close it. Please ensure these tabs are pushed as far down as they will go, (see diagrams in the user instructions) a service will not be required. the video will show the hinges in more detail.
if the above fails to resolve the issue, please contact customer services.
Cause
1. Oven door Clicking Sound - The loud clicking noise is present when the door closing
2. Oven door not closing properly - produces clunking noise
