Resetting PYR or CATA on the oven's display

Question:

• How to reset PYR or CATA message on the oven display?

Applies to:

• oven with a pyrolytic self-cleaning function
• oven with a catalytic self-cleaning function

Resolution:

1. The oven is equipped with a “cleaning reminder” feature.

One of the two following messages will show on the oven's display after a certain amount of time, depending on the oven function used.

2. To reset the message, the following options are available:

• PYR: displayed only for ovens with a pyrolytic cleaning function.
• Press the [+] and [-] buttons simultaneously when the message appears on the display.
• This ensures that a period of time will pass before the message appears again.

Note:

• The only way to permanently remove from the display is to start the pyrolysis self-cleaning function.
• For some ovens, the display shows a third time, this means that pyrolysis must be performed.
• For addition information on pyrolysis please refer to your user manual

• CATA: displayed only for ovens with a catalytic cleaning function.
• Press the [+] and [-] buttons simultaneously when the message appears on the display.
• This ensures that a period of time will pass before the message appears again.
