AEG washing machine – How can I remove the appliance from the app?
Issue
You want to remove your AEG washing machine from the AEG app.
This may be relevant if:
- you have got a new phone
- the products must be registered again
- the washing machine has been sold
- you want to remove the connection between the app and the product

- AEG washer-dryers with WiFi
- AEG app
Resolution
Follow the steps below to remove the product from the AEG app.
1. Open the AEG app
Open the app on the device where the product is registered.
2. Select the product
Tap the washing machine you want to remove.
3. Open the menu
Tap the three dots at the top of the product page.
4. Remove the product
Scroll down in the menu and select: Remove device
Then confirm the action.
5. Register the product again (if necessary)
If you want to reconnect the product, you can then complete the WiFi setup again.

Important
If the product is to be registered to a new account or a new phone, it may also be necessary to reset the washing machine’s Wi-Fi settings.

When is it not a mistake?
It is normal to remove the product from the app when:
- replacement of phone
- edit user profile
- sale or transfer of the product
- new Wi-Fi setup
The problem is not due to a fault with the washing machine.
Cause
The app stores information about the products that are registered to your account.
If the product should no longer be linked to the account, it can be removed directly in the app.
