Dishwasher displays error code i40, i43 or i44
Issue
- Dishwasher displays error code i40, i41, i43 or i44
- Dishwasher emits 4 beeps / 4 flashes
Applies to
- integrated dishwasher
- freestanding dishwasher
Resolution
1. Reset your appliance.
Remove the plug for the dishwasher and plug it in again after app. 5 minutes.
You can also turn off the power using the fuses on the panel/power switch.
2. Check your dishwasher filter and sump (see the instructional video below) for signs of foam/suds & debris
How To Clean Your Dishwasher Filter
- Make sure you clean all the filters
- Clear any foam/suds from the sump
- Plug the appliance back in. Turn on the dishwasher, select a suitable cycle and start it.
- If the cycle starts and operates normally, the problem has been resolved.
If the above steps don't resolve the issue then a service visit by one of our approved service providers is recommended.
Cause
- i40 error message indicates a potentail fault in the pressure sensor and water level control
